In this article you will learn how to clear the Cache and Cookies in the Chrome and Firefox browsers on your computer.
The instructions represent only the most basic principles of working with the cache and cookies, it is also important to note that the browser developers can make changes to the browser and then this instruction may be outdated.
In Chrome browser:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Del to quickly open the history, cache and cookie management menu.
In Firefox browser:
- Click the menu button
and select Settings.
- Select the Privacy & Security panel.
- In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data…
- With both checkboxes marked, click the Clear button.
- Close the Settings page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
